Using the same technique as before with no pattern needed, I transformed this mens shirt into a cool, I mean a hot pair of lounge pants. Based on this and the last pair I made him, my son has already said that I am making him "fire element" pants. That is an Avatar reference for those wondering. Aren't these awesome?
After stitching them up, the only real cutting was to even off the waist.....
...in order to sew in the elastic channel.
The fabric is a thick rayon type so it has weight and a silky feel. SO COMFY! The large size of this shirt made the pants legs end up extra wide, like the gi pants from his Karate outfit.
PERFECT for his ninja moves.
